FBK DOUBLE MILE

Have you always wanted to participate in a running competition, but are you unsure about which distance is right for you? The FBK Double Mile of 3.2 kilometers is suitable for everyone! 

Together with other experienced and inexperienced runners you take on the challenge of achieving a great performance. The ultimate goal: pushing your own limits. The start will take place on June 5th, 2025 in the FBK Stadium, where Dutch top athletes such as Dafne Schippers, Femke Bol, Lieke Klaver, and Sifan Hassan rose above themselves. If you’ve always wanted to know what it feels like to run in a real athletics stadium, now is your chance to make that dream come true!

The finish will be right at the heart of Hengelo, where the prize-giving ceremony after the race will also take place. In addition, each participant receives a medal, so you are a winner either way!

Timetable:

19:55 start frame runners

20:00 start all other runners

In addition to participating on an individual level, companies can also register for the FBK Double Mile. Winners in the pre-program of the FBK Games
The fastest man and the fastest woman will not only win the FBK Double Mile, but also earn a spot in the talent program of the FBK Games on Monday, June 9.
This starting spot will not be passed on to the next fastest athlete if the original winner decides not to participate.

- Men: qualify 1500m

- Women: qualify 800m
